Dirtyweekender sent me this link for “WholesomeWear” swimsuits a while ago and I’ve always intended on posting it. As she so succinctly put it, “If I ever make it to Hawaii...I'm ordering some wholesomewear. This is like, the burka of swimsuits.”

People who still wear their sorority/fraternity stupid event t-shirts…even to work out in. If you’re over thirty, you should no longer be sporting your Signa Alpha Phi Naked Rake Fighting t-shirt. Seriously. You shouldn’t have worn it then either.

Just when you’re about to fall into the depths of despair, you hear a news story that warms the cockles of your heart. And we have Abramoff and the unending corruption of the Republicans to thank! Actually, I don’t know whether to be happy they were caught or depressed that they are capable of such misuse of power. Yes, that wonderful organization that pays lip service to “values” -- it turns out that they are (gasp!) greedy sumbitches. Shocking! First DeLay, then Ney. Will this influence election results? Sadly, since lots of American are still terrified that gay people might be able to get married and that teenagers are having abortions, it won’t make a damned bit of difference.

Yesterday, I saw footage of an old 38 Special concert which prompted me to thought. Have you ever *seen* those guys? Dude, they are so UGLY. I had no idea. I reasoned that they may, actually, be the world's ugliest band. But that's a title that should not be given without some degree of research. Surely, there may be other band of equally frightening countenance? The Scorpions weren't pretty...neither were BTO...I dunno - you be the judge!

I do love Will Ferrell's take on Bush. Here's his most recent Bush parody commercial on global warming shot, of course, on location at the ranch.

I took this picture in Kemah, TX at the boardwalk. There's a small aquarium next to the water with a tank filled with stingrays and another with the crocs. The stingrays are so domesticated they can be pet and will eat out of your hand. It was not advisable to feed the crocs in this manner.
